The riverfront area of Saigon (as most here still call the city) is where the classy hotels and such are located. One of these, perceptively named 'Riverside Hotel' distinguishes itself from the competition by having two European lions standing guard at the main entrance. Unusually (in my experience) these two lions have cubs. The lions are well crafted, and look fairly fierce. They face inwards gazing at each other.
