This trail head is off Sapsucker Woods Rd and is access to the East Trail. East Trail is 3/4 of a mile long loop thru Sapsucker Woods Sanctuary. The trails are open from dawn to dusk.

This trail winds thru the wetlands. It is covered by woodchips. There is a short length of boardwalk to the left as you enter. There are several sitting areas to sit and watch the wildlife all around. If you stop by the visitors center, they can help you identify the various animals as well as loan some binoculars for bird watching.
