Data obtained from the OS web site...

Square: TR
Easting: 1487
Northing: 5773
Mark Type: Bolt
Description: BOLT ST MARGARETS CH ST MARGARETS ST SW FACE 1.0M W ANG
Height: 12.6m

The mark is cut into the church wall with the bolt being at the centre of the datum line. Due to the soft nature of the stone there has been intensive weathering resulting in the mark being feint and the bolt sitting proud of the wall. If that is the result of 26 years then another 20 years may see the mark gone completely.

Type of Trigpoint: 1GL Bolt or PA Bolt and cut benchmark

Condition: Damaged
