This Benchmark is located on the east side of Utah Highway 257, inside the railroad/highway right-of-way fence, about 21 miles soluth of Deseret.

Described by National Geodetic Survey 1970.

22.6 miles northeast from Black Rock.
22.6 miles northeast along the Union Pacific Railroad from the station at Black Rock, 1 1/2 feet northeast of milepole 622, 88.3 feet northwest of the northwest rail, 28 1/2 feet southeast of the center line of State Highway 257, 7.8 feet southeast of a fence, 1.7 feet southwest of a witness post, about 7 1/2 feet lower than the track, a disk on the top of a 5/8-inch copper coated rod driven to gradual refusal at a depth of 13 feet. The upper portion of the rod is encased in a concrete post projecting 0.5 foot above the ground.
