A tarnished fire mark on a private house in the High Street between the Church and the Public House in Hardingstone, Northants.

The Fire marker is made from copper-plate and has discoloured to the verdigris colour it is today. It depicts Britannia with the word COUNTY underneath signifying that the property was insured against fire. These markers were in existence between 1807-1906.




This Fire Mark is in a poor condition.
