Set in 1929 by U.S.Forest Service, marked 6, elev 5240. This benchmark was set in a rock outcrop along the Brooks-Scanlon railroad grade. At M.P. 32.30 on Rd. 18 climb up the hill to the east to the railroad grade. Benchmark is in rock outcrop about 10 west of centerline of railroad grade.
