Den neuen Notburgasteg über den Inn zwischen Jenbach und Rotholz schmückt nun am Nordportal ein 1,30 Meter hohes Notburgarelief, geschaffen vom Weerberger Künstler Franz Knapp, der bereits den Notburgabrunnen beim Südportal konzipierte und für den südlichen Brückenträger die stattliche Holzskulptur zur Heiligenthematik (Notburgas Ochsen-Begräbniszug durch den Fluss darstellend) im vergangenen Jahr ausführte.
Am Nordportal wurde zudem in geschnizter Form der Schriftzug “Hand bei der Arbeit - Herz bei Gott” angebracht. Am 14. September 2011 ist das Notburgarelief durch Bischof Manfred Scheuer gesegnet worden.

Holzbau Saurer haben eine dreifeldrige, überdachte Fachwerksholzbrücke entworfen. Das Tragwerk weist eine lichte Weite von 88 Meter auf, die neue Fahrbahnbreite von 3,50 Meter bietet allen Benützern großzügig Platz auf der neuen Verbindung am Inn. Auf der Südseite der Brücke verbindet eine kurze Stahlbetonplatte mit einer Länge von 12 Meter das Tragwerk mit dem bestehenden Rad- und Fußweg am südlichen Innufer. Damit beträgt die Gesamtlänge der neuen Konstruktion 100 Meter. Insgesamt ist es gelungen, ein kostengünstiges aber dennoch architektonisch wertvolles Bauwerk mit dem heimischen Werkstoff Holz zu planen und auch zu errichten.
