This 1924 sculpture by Henry Poole is actually one of two replicas of a work by Harry Bates. The original was made 1894-8 and Poole worked as Bates appentice at that time. The life-sized bronze work portrays Roberts in full military uniform astride a horse. The stone plinth is about 8 feet high and bears the simple inscriptions "ROBERTS".
The piece is located on the southeast corner of the Horse Guards Parade in London.
