Bent Prop ~ Eloy, Arizona - Ship Screws and Aircraft Props on Waymarking.com

As I recall the story that was told to me, this prop came from a skydiving aircraft that was loaded and ready for takeoff, but the final checkout included revving up the engines. This is just routine and causes no problem when the tail is anchored down. Unfortunately, someone forgot to do this, and when the engines were revved, the aircraft nosed over, burying the props into the ground and ruining the engines. OOPS!
