Pier 14 is a new public pier dedicated on June 16, 2006 to former mayor Art Agnos.

Pier 14 is on The Embarcadero near Mission Street. It is primarily for walking, relaxing on a bench and sightseeing. There is a great view of the nearby Bay Bridge, Yerba Buena Island, the Ferry Building and the San Francisco skyline.

There is a large modernistic fence precluding fishing or jumping from the pier. The pier has a gateway entrance. At the beginning of the pier, on both sides, are a set of painted tiles, featuring boats and ships that have sailed the San Francisco Bay.

A walking tour of the pier can be seen on Youtube.
