Guillaume Bijl, 1946 in Antwerpen geboren, ist ein belgischer Installationskünstler. Von 2001 bis 2011 war er Professor für Bildhauerei an der Kunstakademie Münster.
Im Dezember 2007 erhielt er den Kulturpreis der Sparda-Bank West. Im folgenden Jahr wurde eine Installation von ihm am Ende der Herzogstraße in der Elberfelder Innenstadt aufgestellt. Die Skulptur mit dem Namen "Ein neuer erfolgreicher Tag" zeigt einen Anzug tragenden Mann, der einen Handstand ausführt.
Guillaume Bijl, born in Antwerp in 1946, is a Belgian installation artist. From 2001 to 2011 he was professor of sculpture at the Art Academy in Münster.
In December 2007 he was awarded the Cultural Prize of the Sparda-Bank West. The following year an installation of him was placed at the end of the Herzogstraße in the city of Elberfeld. The sculpture, called "Ein neuer erfolgreicher Tag" (A new successful day) shows a suit-carrying man who performs a handstand.
