This monument was placed in 1910 by the local chapter of the United Daughters of the Confederacy. This is a tall monument, about 25 feet or so and is tucked away in the Vance County administration district.

The inscription at the monument's base reads:

"Peace to Their Ashes; Honor to Their Memory; Glory to Their Cause"
