Just occasionally you stumble across a place which has a higher than usual concentration of weathervanes. This happened to me on a bike ride recently. The place is a little hamlet just south west of the village of Abbots Morton on the road between Flyford Flavell and the B4088. I think the road is probably called Radford Road. I made up my mind to come back so made a return trip by bike this time equipped with GPS and camera.
This Old Father Time weathervane (a mimic of the famous one at Lords Cricket Ground in London) is the fifth in the "collection" (travelling east to west). The waypoint is for the gated entrance to the property, not the weathervane itself. The owners were in the garden at the time so I asked permission to get the photo. They were amused by my weathervane collecting hobby!
