Inauguré en avril 2007, le centre de tri de Terrebonne permet à Tricentris à la fois de décharger le centre de tri de Lachute et d’offrir un emplacement idéal pour répondre aux besoins de l’important bassin démographique de la Rive-Nord, de la Rive-Sud et du Grand Montréal.
Ce centre de tri de 4 200 m2 (45 000 pi2) permet de traiter jusqu’à 75 000 tonnes métriques de déchets par an. D’autre part, Tricentris a souhaité construire un bâtiment à haute qualité environnementale, ce qui lui a valu d’obtenir la certification LEED OR, première distinction de ce type pour un centre de tri au Canada. Preuve de la réussite de ce projet, Tricentris a également été désigné Lauréat Energia dans la catégorie bâtiment vert Durable 2008 de l’Agence québécoise de la maîtrise de l’énergie
En raison de sa certification LEED Or, Tricentris a remporté un Griffon d’Or dans la catégorie « Action Environnementale de l’Année-Volet Entreprise ».

Inaugurated in April 2007, the sorting of Terrebonne Tricentris allows both to relieve the sorting center of Lachute and offer an ideal location to accommodate this large population of the North Shore, the South Shore and Greater Montreal.
This sorting of 4,200 m2 (45,000 ft2) treats up to 75,000 metric tons of waste per year. On the other hand, Tricentris wished to construct a building to high environmental quality, which earned him a Gold LEED certification, the first such distinction for a sorting center in Canada. Proof of the success of this project, Tricentris was also named winner in the category Energia 2008 Sustainable Building Green Agency Quebec's energy management
Because of its LEED Gold certification, Tricentris won a Golden Gryphon in category "Environmental Action Component of the Year-Company" ..
