Nicely integrated Clck in high steeple of the evangelic St Jakob (St James) Church located in the street Stauffacher Strasse just next to tram stopp "Stauffacher" on the left side of the river Sihl in Zürich. The black dials of the clock have gilded Roman numerals and minute division.
The church was constructed between 1899-1901 according to plans of Berlin's architects Johannes Vollmer and Heinrich Jassoy in the style of the German neo-Renaissance. Its 80 m tall tower dominates Zurich's Aussersihl district. It is an open church, which has been also the contact point for pilgrims since 1997.
