Wat Na-ram-t-v-puk-Sar-r (the name transliterated by myself) is located between the provincial capitals of Phitsanulok and Loei, just inside the Loei border. The temple is 'ancient', as I was told, but is clearly in the process of extensive refurbishment. At the time of my visit (March 2012) the roof of the main building was still under construction. The temple grounds hold the usual arrangement of Thai Buddhist architecture, but all is to a high standard, and very pretty.

Outside the ordination hall are two sets of lions. These are new lions, still unpainted, but paid for by donations from local citizens. These are the regular styled Thai Buddhist lions. Perhaps a tad smaller than most I have seen.
