In Redmond from the intersection with US97, travel SE on SW Airport Way for about 0.2 miles. Turn right on SW 19th Street and continue roughly 0.8 miles. Walk S cross-country about 0.7 miles, then E for 2.0 miles to the standard corner.
Type of survey mark: 3-1/4" brass cap on iron pipe

What indicators are near the mark to help people identify where it is located?:
The standard corner is 36" E of a mound of lava rocks, and there are four yellow-tagged bearing trees that are also scribed and each marked with a nail and washer stamped COUNTY SURVEYOR. In addition, there is an orange Carsonite witness post.


What property is this mark defining?:
The corner is on the Third Standard Parallel South. Survey history is in Deschutes County Surveyors Office, Oregon Corner Restoration Record No. 1293.
