Early Gothic church from the 13th century, which was built on the site of the former Romanesque church of St. Michal. The original portal and sacristy have been preserved. During the course of the 15th century the Bell Tower was added. The church was several time rebuilded in gothic and barocco style during the centuries. Major reconstruction and regotisation was made in the years 1908-1911 by architect Kamil Hilbert). Just during this regotisation a new clock was installed on the Bell Tower. According to (

Karel Adamec started his Town Clockmaker business in 1883 and during almost thirty years he made more than 400 Town Clocks, which were installed in then Austro-Hungarian Empire, Germany, Russia, Serbia and Bulgaria.
