Around 7PM on Friday, June 25, 2010, Stan was killed by a drunk (0.19 blood alcohol) driver on Ridge Road. A 1985 graduate of Univ. of Maryland with a degree in Zoology, he was pursing a MS in Biotechnology at John Hopkins. obituary

Be careful when stopping to view the memorial as Ridge Road continues to be a very busy highway. Limited shoulder available for parking.
