The Clifford Banking Company building at 105 North First Street was constructed circa 1887. The one-story brick building features a recessed front and decorative cornice. When the building was restored in the late 1980's, early 1990's the original bank vault and the floor to ceiling wood and glass screen were discovered. The building was restored by the Clarksville Historic Preservation Commission and is in very good condition. The building is used for coffee shop and restaurant.
The former bank building is a contributing building in the Clarksville Historic District.
