Cranes is a family business which originally started in 1851 selling and maintaining pianos. The business has since expanded into most musical areas including brass and woodwind, percussion, guitars and amplification.

Cranes have many famous Welsh customers include Stereophonics, Manic Street Preachers, Super Furry Animals, Funeral for a Friend, Lost Prophets, Motorhead, The Automatic, Kids In Glass Houses and The Blackout and many more over the years.
