BOR A-Canal BM - Klamath Falls, OR - U.S. Benchmarks on Waymarking.com

This bench mark is imbedded into a concrete structure that is part of a metal water diversion next to the A-Canal (irrigation canal). It is located on the NW corner of the diversion structure. Attached aerial photo shows the location of the bench mark inside the red circle. It is not located in the NGS database.

Bench mark can be accessed by driving south on Hwy 39 until you get to the A-canal. If you come to the Hwy 140/Hwy 39 junction, you've gone too far south. There is parking on the south side of the A-canal next to the Hwy 39 bridge that expands over the canal. You can then walk along a dirt road next to the A-Canal, heading NW for about .4 miles until you come to a metal water diversion structure. You can walk across the structure and the bench mark is located to the immediate left.
