Description of Memorial: It is a bronze plaque attached to a medium-sized sandstone rock. It is located in a bed of river rock, situated northeast of the entrance the the Student Center, in the middle of the SLCC Redwood Campus. Usually, when I stop here, I come in from the other side, so I've missed it in the past. This time I spotted it.
