Citi Pond is the first free ice skating rink in Manhattan. In 2005, the City of New York first converted the 200' by 150' rectangular central lawn area of Bryant Park into an ice skating rink during the winter season. From late October through the end of February the public is invited to enjoy this winter activity surrounded by the skyscrapers of mid-town Manhattan.
You can bring your own skates or rent them for $14 per day. Lockers are free if you have your own lock or you can purchase a lock for $9. If you wish to checking a bag will cost $7.
