Shady Lake is a beautiful camping/hiking area at the southwest corner of the Ouachita Mountains in west Arkansas. The You are Here sign is at the entrance to the camping area, where you can pay the day/camping fees and pick up pamphlets about recreational activities available in the surrounding areas.

There are several very large and detailed maps on display at this center.
