Broomehill is a town in the Broomehill Shire located 302 km southeast of Perth and 20 km south of Katanning along the Great Southern Highway between Katanning and Albany.
The Shire of Broomehill-Tambellup is a progressive rural community located within the Great Southern Region of Western Australia. The region is predominantly a sheep and grain producing area with a growing interest in aquaculture in the form of Barramundi farming, viticulture, horticulture and tourism. The Shire has a population of over 1,100 people and covers around 2,813 square kilometres.
