Also known as Old Bridge, this extensive and monumental bridge is located in Mirandela making the crossing of the river Tua. It was a road bridge until the seventies of last century, having then been built a new bridge that replaced it, located a few hundred meters upstream.
It was built in the sixteenth century, having undergone several reconstructions and interventions over time.
This is a bridge in stone granite, which at present is about 238.5 m long, being supported by seventeen arcs.
It currently has pedestrian use.
