Castle Callenberg - a hunting lodge and summer palace, recently longtime primary residence of the Dukes of Saxe-Coburg and Gotha - is because of it's history and its neo-Gothic architectural style an important monument. It stands on a wooded hill in the district of Coburg, Beiersdorf, in the north-west, 3,7 miles from the city center.
