The sculpture was made by Livio Morais and depicts traditional african woman and fishes in a 3 meters (10 feet) totem made of stone.
Livio Morais is a Mozambican artist. he was born in Zambezia, Mozambique in 1945. He has a degree in Sculpture (1978) by Lisbon´s university Fine Arts School. He´s a sculptor, paintor, essayistm African Art researcher, High School History Teacher, he has made fotography for medical research, he has made sociology and anthropology studies and he gave several lectures on Art and Masks in various European universities.
