The NOC Enid planetarium was opened on October 27, 2009. The planetarium is a 50-foot geodesic dome, which houses a 40-foot projection dome, a Spitz A/4 classic projection system and is set up to seat about 60. The night sky at any point, during any season, can be projected onto the dome, for instruction and enjoyment.
Part of the College's Astronomy Research Center, it is one of the largest in Oklahoma. It stands on the northeast part of the college campus. Just south of this dome is a 16-foot observatory, rounding out the school's excellent astronomy department.
