Griffin park is a large park in Windham, NH that has multiple sports fields, a large skateboard area, a small pond, and a very nice playground.
The playground is of the metal/plastic style with a spongy rubber material for a base. There is a small-kid structure and a big-kid structure. There is also a 4 way teeter, a small climbing wall, other climbing features, and a nice set of swings. The playground itself is wheelchair accessible due to the ground cover and general access, but the play structures are not. There is one body-support style swing available as well. The entire area is enclosed with a fence with a single opening that can be secured. Plenty of benches are available for tired parents, virtually no shade though.
There are multiple sports fields in this park covering baseball, tennis, walking/running, and skateboarding. Many portable-style toilets abound and a snack-bar is on-site but only open during baseball games. Adjacent to the playground is a small pond with ducks and frogs as well as a large area to run around in.
