The town's website describes this mural and the blacksmith shop as follows:
"Jacob Schram operated a blacksmith shop at the old townsite in the late 1800s before moving his business to this location in 1906. As the town’s blacksmith from 1906-1915, Jacob is pictured on the left with a helper. The mural shows what the view from the blacksmith shop was like in the early 1900s. One can see the corner Hardware Store and the steps of the wooden Canadian Bank of Commerce building."
