This cenotaph, originally placed in 1955 during Alberta's Golden Jubilee celebrates the area's early pioneers. A time capsule added in 1994 to this cenotaph is located between the community centre and seniors drop in centre in Stony Plain, Alberta.

Originally placed in 1955, this cenotaph had a new plaque and time capsule added on the 15th of October 1994 that is to be opened by the mayor and council of the day 25 years from its placement.
