In the centre of the modern city of Melaka is the 'old town' area, filled with tourists, tourist related businesses, and many dated buildings. One of the larger of these buildings is the Eng Seng Hong Gerrey Market. I visited in the evening, after closing time, thus I am not certain the building is in use, but I would venture to suggest that it is still operational.
On the facade is the dedicatory year, the name of the structure in English, and, I am sure, the same name in Chinese.
