"On the north coast of the Loughor Estuary, Burry Port Marina offers boat owners the perfect mix of leisure facilities in 14 miles of landscaped parkland. The marina makes an ideal base for exploring the South and West Wales coastline and lies at the gateway to Carmarthen Bay.
It enjoys stunning views of the Gower and are within easy reach of the glorious Pembrokeshire coastline.
Over £8 million has been spent on converting the old tidal harbour into a modern marina and yet the facility still retains its Victorian charm and is just a stone’s throw from a small but vibrant town centre.
The facility offers berths for vessels of between six and 12 metres. The marina has been dredged to a depth of approximately 1.5 metres and, therefore, can only accommodate boats with draughts up to that depth.
Water levels within the marina are controlled by an automatic tidal flap gate. As a result, open access to the sea is limited to approximately two to two and a half hours either side of high water."
