Long Description:
The Cathedral is officially called the Metropolitan Cathedral Basilica of Saint Catherine of Alexandria (Spanish: Catedral Basílica Metropolitana de Santa Catalina de Alejandría). Construction of the Cathedral began in 1577 but wasn't finished until 1612. (visit link) It's possible that this sundial dates from that time.
The default photo was taken at 11:55 so the sundial is very accurate.
