The Copley Depot was built by the Pittsburgh, Akron & Western Railroad in 1891 and served as both a passenger and freight railroad station. In 1974, over 20 years after passenger service ended, the depot was moved from its original location, 1/2 mile north of here. The station is typical of small town stations and measures 16' x 40'. The station agent's office is centrally located between the passenger waiting area and the freight room.
The restored depot is now owned by the Copley Township Historical Society and serves as a museum and their headquarters.
