Thay (teacher) Pagoda is about 30km west of Hanoi and is located in the Ha Tay province of Vietnam. It was built during the Ly Nhan Tong Dynasty (1072-1127) and named after the Buddhist monk Tu Dao Hanh who was a teacher and the inventor of water puppetry, an art form unique to Vietnam.

Description of Covered Bridge: This old wooden bridge with a curved tiled roof is about 40 feet long. It is a pedestrian bridge. There are two covered bridges over the Long Chieu pond at the Thay Pagoda. They are dedicated to the Sun and the Moon.
