Located at the end of the Lancashire Boulevard exit from Highway 71, and directly north of the fire department, this 289' concrete bridge crosses Sugar Creek on a generally east-west alignment. To reach the plaque, parking is available either in the fire department parking lot, or in the small 3-store shopping center on the north side of Lancashire Blvd. The plaque is on the north abutment of the east end of the bridge, and is easily accessible.
NOTE*** If you have children or pets along with you, please note that Lancashire is a VERY busy road, with a blind curve to the west. Also, there is a steep embankment down to the river, and getting back up might be an issue.
