This drawbridge replaces the old Stutson Street drawbridge. At 45 feet about the Genesee River, the bridge needs to be raised much less frequently than its predecessor.

Named after Colonel Patrick O'Rourke, leader of the 140th Regiment during the Civil War, and particularly at the Battle of Little Round Top at Gettysburg.
