Die historische Kern der Stadt Lindau liegt auf einer 0,68 km² großen Insel, die mit dem Festland durch eine Straßenbrücke und dem Eisenbahndamm zum Bahnhof Lindau verbunden ist.
Der Tourentaler zeigt die bekannte Hafeneinfahrt mit Leuchtturm und der Skulptur des bayerischen Löwen.

The historic city of Lindau is located on an 0.68 km² (0.26 sq mi) island which is connected with the mainland by a road bridge and the causeway of the railway to Lindau station.
The Tourist Stamp shows the famous port entrance with the lighthouse and Bavarian Lion sculpture.
