Kamphaeng Phet is found ~300kms north of Bangkok, a quiet town of agriculture, light industry, and a world heritage historical park (worth a look)—and of course, also, a bus station.

This station is found outside the town, to the west, on the other side of the Ping River from the city centre, just off the main highway, which runs to the west of the city. The station is solidly built, a rectangular structure, with ticket counters at one end, and toilets, and trinkets for sale at the other. In between a covered waiting area, with bus bays around. Around the station are a number of small restaurants. From this station buses arrive and depart for Bangkok, for the neighbouring provinces, and to the small towns and villages within the province.
