Nakhon Sawan is the capital of the central Thai province of the same name. The station for the city and province is located ~6kms from the city. The station is rather pleasant in design. A large, high roofed, central ticket/waiting area, with lots of potted plants, attractive. Spic and span in appearance. Not a huge amount of traffic, but an assortment of freight trains and passengers. Not many people exit at this point, most are heading back to Bangkok, or on to one of the large cities further north. Don't pay more than 100 baht to a tuk tuk driver for your delivery into the city.
