I found no history on the cemetery on the Internet.
This is a very excellent cemetery located South east of Columbus, Kansas. It contains approximately 5,000 graves. I found a Woodmen marker, and a very unique headstone for a veteran of the 14th Kansas Volunteer Cavalry from the Civil War. The entryway is cut rock with "City Cemetery" in green lettering. There is a plaque with the text:
