The Harris Corliss Wheel is a fixture in the Trestle View Park, in Franklin, NH. It is located on Central Street (U.S. Route 3), where the Winnepesaukee River Passes under the highway. The wheel represents the mill industry that thrived in Franklin, and was set in place here at the request of Russell F. Feener, a founding member of the Trestle View Park, at the base of the Winnepesaukee River Trail. A plaque has been placed at the base of the wheel in his honor:

"This mill wheel represents the importance of the mills in the development and history of Franklin. Wheels of this type were part of steam engines powering textile and other facilities that required large amounts of power.

This flywheel, weighing 11 tons, and the steam engine it was part of, were installed in July 1911 in the Franklin Mills textile building across the river on Bow Street. Since the engine was moved from another facility to Franklin, actual manufacture and first use took place prior to that date. The steam engine developed 1280 HP and powered an 800 KW generator that generated electricity to operate the machinery in the mill. The wheel was salvaged from the building when the building was demolished in 1999.

The Winnepesaukee Trail also includes the Franklin and Tilton Railroad trestle across the street from the wheel, and further up the trail is the famous Sulphite Bridge.

There is parking available, in addition to street parking.
