This is a life-sized statue of Jesus Christ. Jesus is the basis for all of Christianity.
Jesus is offering bread and a cup of wine. This is a fitting statue to be placed in front of a church known as the Blessed Sacrement as Jesus is offering the Eucharist or Communion. There is an artist mark at the bottom of the statue that I cannot make out and '85 which I believe signifies it was completed in 1985.
On the brick base where the statue is placed there is a memorial plaque that reads:
In Memory of
Father "Thom" Schiano
Dedicated Priest...An Unique Man
