Tall, approx. 2m high, and placed to give easy directions to major attractions in the city.
This one is at the north-east entrance to Aotea Square and gives directions to the Bledisloe Building, Aotea Centre and Box Office, and the Herald Theatre. The Metro Centre and Civic Theatre are to the north along Queen Street, whilst the Town Hall, the Q Theatre and the Civic Administration Building are to the left along the square.
There are five other 'you are here' signs in this square.
