The disk is a NYSDPW disk #4-2-118 and is set in concrete at ground surface level. The disk is located on the W side sidewalk/shoulder of Winton Road (Southbound side) on the S end of the bridge that spans the Erie Canal. There is a witness post directly adjacent to the disk, and the post is visible driving on the bridge. Access to the disk is available via a driveway (that takes you to the trail to access the Erie Canal) off the S end of the bridge. While you cannot stop on the bridge, parking is available at the gate, but do not go into the Rochester Gun Club property to the left.
