Cette sculpture de la famille à été crée par Art Price en 1961. Il s'agit d'une sculpture en bronze mesurant environ 3 mètres de hauteur posée sur une plinthe en granite. On peut y voir, le père, la mère et leurs enfants.
Le texte de la plaque, située à proximité de la sculpture, se lit comme suit: "Sculpture à la famille offerte à la ville de Gatineau par la Comagnie La Prudentielle dans le cadre des célébrations du 150e anniversaire de la Ville et dévoilée pas son Honneur le Maire Marc Croteau, le 8 Juin 1997.
This bronze sculpture of the family measuring approximately 3 meters high resting on a granite base was created by Art Price in 1961. The father, mother and their children can be seen.
The text of the plaque, located near the sculpture reads: "Sculpture of the family donated to the city of Gatineau by the Prudential Company as part of celebrations related to the 150th anniversary of the city. The sculpture was unveiled by his Honour, Mayor Marc Croteau, on June 8, 1997.
