As one of a number of successful Dragon Inns, The George at Aberbargoed has been completely refurbished both inside and out to emerge from what was a village eyesore into an attractive local public house.
The pub has always been called 'The George' as it stands of the corner of George Street.
The George has a mix of customers that covers all ages and types, both locals and from farther afield, all coming to enjoy major sporting occasions viewed on the best presentation package available.
They sponsor a large number of darts and pool teams which represent The George in a variety of local leagues and they always welcome new recruits.
